In the heart Kalkan, the charming seaside district of Kaş on Turkey's beautiful Mediterranean coast, Zula Fish & Meze began its journey in 2008 as a rooftop restaurant, offering guests the perfect harmony of fresh seafood, authentic meze, and breathtaking views.
In the wake of the rise in terrorist incidents across Turkey in 2015 and the attempted military coup in 2016, we made the difficult decision to close our rooftop restaurant. Determined to continue welcoming guests, we transformed the terrace in partnership with the Black & Gold family, reopening it as a cocktail bar. Since then, Black & Gold has earned national and international recognition, winning numerous medals and trophies for its signature cocktails.
Following the pandemic, in 2022, we brought Zula Fish & Meze back to life in a new street-side setting inspired by the lively atmosphere of Istanbul's historic Kumkapı and Çiçek Pasajı. Created from a passion for sharing the rich flavours of the Mediterranean, Zula Fish & Meze has quickly become one of the region's most popular dining destinations, loved by both local guests and visitors from around the world.
In 2022, we opened our doors as a restaurant dedicated to the art of exceptional seafood and authentic Mediterranean meze, and it has been our privilege to welcome guests from around the world ever since.
